Alpha-n

Alpha-n is a tuning method that uses engine RPM and throttle angle (TPS) to determine fuel and/or timing values. It is not typically found in any somewhat modern street car due to large disadvantages.

Throttle position constitutes load.

Advantages

Disadvantages

Completely unsuitable for a turbocharged car because throttle position is very indirectly tied to the amount of air traveling through the engine
